Photographs, audio recordings or video footage taken may not be used for commercial promotion or advertising without our prior consent.

Images taken by Māori Tours Kaikōura and/or agents acting on behalf of Māori Tours Kaikōura may be taken during your tour and such images may appear in advertising, social media and promotional material, at our discretion.

PURCHASE OF YOUR TICKET MEANS YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
 

If You Need to Cancel:
We understand that plans can change. However, due to the nature of our small operation, the following cancellation fees apply:

Within 48 hours of your tour:

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled tour may be charged up to 100% of the total booking cost.

​

More than 48 hours before your tour:

Cancellations made with over 48 days’ notice will incur a 10% administration fee based on the total booking cost.

​

No - shows:

If you do not arrive for your tour and have not contacted us in advance, the full booking cost will be charged.

​

We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected changes in your plans.

If We Need to Cancel:
Your safety and our cultural values are our highest priorities. For that reason there are times that we need to cancel or reschedule tours:

 

Tangi (bereavement):
In Māori culture, a Tangi (funeral) is of utmost importance and may occasionally require us to cancel a tour.

Extreme Weather:
For your safety, we may cancel tours if severe weather conditions make travel unsafe.

​

Please note that cancellations on our part are very rare. If we do need to cancel your tour, we will do our best to reschedule you. If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a full refund of your fare.

Privacy & Legal Policy

We respect your privacy and only collect personal information you choose to share with us - such as when you email us or book a tour. We use cookies to improve site navigation but do not track personal data. We never sell or rent your information.
